Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Monetize at monetize.lat, including the websites, checkout pages, dashboards, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, buying access, or selling access, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Monetize is a link monetization platform. Creators sell subscription access to a digital file, a private Discord community, or a private link. Buyers pay Monetize through Stripe. The checkout page names the creator and the product before payment. Access lasts for the plan they choose: 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days. A 1-day price can be a trial that then renews at the weekly or monthly price shown on the checkout page. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Creators do not each have a separate Stripe account. Monetize charges the customer, keeps the platform fee, and pays the creator their share.
Monetize is the platform. Creators are responsible for what they sell. Buyers are responsible for the payment method they use.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. You must keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person may keep one creator account. Extra accounts used to evade a limit, a ban, or a fee are not allowed. We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms or the law.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. The full list is the Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you may not:
- sell or upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to distribute;
- sell copyrighted material without the rights to do so;
- sell sexual content involving anyone under 18;
- use bots or fake traffic to inflate sales, clicks, or payouts;
- impersonate another person or interfere with the Service;
- use the Service from a country subject to a trade embargo or sanctions that apply to you.
4. Payments and renewals
Payments are processed by Stripe. By starting a subscription you allow Stripe to charge the card or wallet you choose, and to charge it again at each renewal. The price, the length of the plan, and any price it renews into are shown before you pay. A trial day, if offered, is a real charge, not a free sample.
Digital access starts as soon as the payment succeeds. You ask for that immediate access. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your 14-day right of withdrawal ends when access starts, because you agreed to receive the digital service immediately.
You can cancel from your account with Manage subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access you already paid for lasts until the end of that period. Cancelling does not erase a charge that already succeeded. Failed payments can cause access, including a Discord role, to be removed.
5. Creators and payouts
On each new sale the platform keeps 30% and the creator keeps 70%. Older sales stay on the fee that applied when they were made. Earnings become available for payout 7 days after the sale. A creator may request one crypto payout per week, for at least €50, to an address they provide. A new request can be cancelled for 60 seconds. After that it is processed manually.
Crypto transfers cannot be reversed. You must check the asset and the address before you confirm. We may refuse, delay, or reverse a payout that comes from a refund, a dispute, fraud, prohibited content, or a breach of these Terms. We may ask you to confirm your identity before paying out. Until that is done, payouts can stay on hold. If an account is suspended, pending payout requests can be stopped.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the files, links, and other material you upload. You give Monetize permission to host, store, and deliver that material so the Service can run, including sending a buyer the access they paid for. You confirm you have the rights to do this.
The Monetize name, site, and software belong to the operator of the Service. You may not copy them except as needed to use the Service.
7. Personal data
We use account data, the email you enter at checkout, payment records from Stripe, and Discord account data when a role is part of the purchase. We use that data to create accounts, deliver access, renew or cancel subscriptions, pay creators, and prevent abuse. Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by Monetize. Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are the contract with you and our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure.
8. Other services
Stripe processes payments. Discord handles login and role assignment when a lock uses Discord. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for an outage or a decision made by Stripe or Discord.
9. Liability
The Service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or a particular amount of sales. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability in a 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to the platform, or the payouts you received, in that period. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including liability for intent or for injury caused by negligence where that cannot be limited. You will cover claims that come from the content you sell or from your misuse of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always this page. If you keep using the Service after an update, you accept the new Terms. If a sentence in these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
11. Law
Mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live still apply. Otherwise these Terms follow the law that applies to the operator of the Service.
