How it works

Monetize is a link monetization platform. Creators publish a checkout link for eligible digital content or community access. Customers pay Monetize through Stripe and receive the access described on that page.

For creators

  1. Create an account.
  2. Confirm your email and set a public username.
  3. Accept the Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. Create a monetized link and name the exact product or access being sold.
  5. Describe what the customer receives, and say where you will promote the offer.
  6. Share your link.
  7. Eligible payments are collected by Monetize. Your share is available for a crypto payout after the hold in the Terms.

For customers

  1. Open the creator’s link.
  2. Review the creator, the product, the price, and what you receive.
  3. Select the available purchase option.
  4. Complete checkout.
  5. Receive the access or content described on the page.

Who charges the card

Monetize is the platform that charges the customer. Creators do not each have a separate Stripe account. The checkout page names the creator and the product so the charge matches what was shown before payment. Monetize keeps the platform fee and pays the creator their share.
